the next generation of oil

I’ll admit it – I’m a technology junkie.  I love buying all the latest gadgets and have subscriptions to magazines like PC Magazine, Popular Mechanics, Scientific American, and Discover Magazine.  Not only that, I like to spend an inordinate amount of time surfing tech sites just looking at all the stuff I didn’t see in the magazines I subscribe to.  One of the coolest things I’ve seen is a pretty timely thing – Oil 2.0.  Instead of pumping the oil up from the ground and using up our limited supply of the stuff, now they have bacteria that are able to eat things like straw or wood shavings and in return they’ll give you oil that is ready to be put in your car?  I think this type of technology is very cool and I hope it takes off.
