Is Day Trading As Risky As They Say?
You see a lot of warnings regarding Day Trading these days. Some of the warnings are from the government based upon their assessment of the risk involved. Much of the risk mentioned outside of the government is basically used to hype up another non-day trading product, often touting it as "safer than day trading".
The truth of the matter is that all trading is risky, especially when done by untrained, undisciplined, and undercapitalized traders.
There are very successful day traders in a wide variety of markets, Forex, stocks, futures, etc.
Actually many day trader consider day trading to be much less risky because they do not have the risk of overnight exposure to the markets.
Remember, all trading is risky when you don’t know what you are doing. Don’t day trade or do any other type of trading without doing your homework first.
