Never make asumptions with insurance

The vast majority of people don’t buy insurance for travel. The reason is based assumptions that their health or life insurance will cover them while they travel. To often family members of people injured or killed while traveling find that events that caused the injury or death has been specifically excluded from their more general kind of insurance policy. Infrequent travelers assume that the airline or bus or train or shipping company insures their personal item only to find out that lost luggage is not insured but the company providing the travel. So I say again never assume anything about insurance.
