System Software for Manufacturing Processes
In World War I, my grandfather drove a six mule hitch for the Quartermaster Corps. His greatest problem was getting his mules from Point A to Point B with his wagon load intact. Much has changed about delivery systems and logistics since then!
Although goods still have to be delivered, modern methods have improved manufacturing and delivery systems immensely. Use of manufacturing execution system software has enhanced this process as well.
Tracking of materials and processes have greatly improved. Ultimately, the goal is to streamline the manufacturing process as much as possible while still providing jobs for skilled and dedicated workers.
