The good technology jobs are waiting for you!
If you just went to school for a computer technician job then your in luck. Companies all over are hurting for good technicians. The draw back is you will need to start somewhere that probably doesn’t pay what you expect to make as a technician. The reason being is the pay scale for technology consultant jobs is based on experience and knowledge. Experience in the lower paying tech positions will help you get the other higher paying jobs later. Think of part of the pay as being able to learn the trade and to get the experience you need. That is actually more valuable than the pay rate at this point in your career.
