Pregnancy Due Dates Are Not Accurate - Babies Have their Own Timetable

Remember that your pregnancy due date might not be accurate, if you have longer cycles than the average woman. In that case your due date might be off by more than a week. When doctors give a pregnancy due date, they usually do so by use of a pregnancy wheel. This pregnancy wheel assumes that you have a twenty-eight day menstrual cycle. Most women do not. If you have a cycle that goes in five or six week increments, the pregnancy due date given to you by a pregnancy wheel will not be accurate. Babies have their own timetables, so don’t get frustrated with your due date.
