Moving to Charlotte, NC
It should be no surprise that the Wall Street Journal announced that more people are buying houses in Charlotte, NC than anywhere else in the United States at the moment. The numbers don’t lie either. Despite the recent drop in the number of people buying or selling houses in recent months, Charlotte, NC is booming with people who are still able to sell their houses without having to dip below what they originally asked for. Charlotte, like many other cities in North Carolina is experiencing growth due to a fairly successful economy. There are plenty of jobs to be had in Charlotte also, seeing as how it is one of the top cities in the United States for banking businesses. For instance, the Bank of America corporate headquarters is located in Charlotte along with the Wachovia Bank corporate headquarters. But some people are trekking to North Carolina because of the climate and cost of living. Whatever the reason, North Carolina had finally found its place on the map.
