Happiness With a Big Whack
“When you have an important point to make, don’t try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.” Good Old Winston Churchill certainly was following his own advice about communications when he said that. OK, Winston, we get the point. We won’t beat around the bush. We will make sure that people understand exactly what we mean. We won’t expect people to try to interpret what we mean. We won’t end up arguing later on about what we really wanted. Thanks.
