I’m Going Back To The Days Of The Pocket Watch
It’s a shame we don’t still wear waistcoats. I always thought they looked very smart and they seem to be very practical too. I have this image in my mind of a man wearing a waistcoat and taking his pocket watch out of the pocket, checking the time and then closing the lid and returning the watch to his pocket.
It is such an image of style and elegance and it would not be the same if he were just checking a wristwatch. I think I might just buy myself a waistcoat so that I can re-inact this little scenario in front of a mirror. I am sure my friends would laugh at me but it would make me smile and what could be wrong with that?
Bring back the days of the waistcoat and pocket watch, that’s what I say.
