Although, I have never tried it, I have heard that some banks will offer their customers the ability to set up a new bank account online. I can see where this is a good benefit and pro to setting up a new account because in today’s day, people are very busy with work, school, children, and usually a number of other jobs and regular duties. It can be hard to find time to go to the bank and sit with a representative, fill out all the information, and wait the few minutes to get approved. Setting up a bank account online probably appeals to tons of people. I foresee more banks offering this option.
