Really just a matter of personal taste
I get a big kick out of watching self proclaimed wine coinsures tell everyone which wines are supposed to be the best. If you disagree with them they just say you don’t have an educated pallet. I say the best wine are your personal favorite wines. It is true some of the very expensive wines are very good but it is also true some inexpensive wines are just as good. I wonder whose favorite wines are the celebrity label wines. What ever your favorite wines I say enjoy them. You know what price you are comfortable with and you can even occasionally find expensive wines on sale and give them a try and see what you really think of them.
