Moving into a new home is a big undertaking and should be planned well in advance if time allows.  But, in the real world, time does not always allow.  We were told we had to vacate our apartment on very short notice due to an impending disaster.  I have heard of this happening to others, but never thought about it happening to us.  We are newlyweds so we don’t have much, but I really wanted to save my Breyer Model Horses collection that my grandmother started for me when I was two.  So my husband took all our towels and washcloths and wrapped the horses in them and placed them in pillowcases, laundry baskets and anything else he could find.  He saved them all.  I love that man.
