Selection of Finger for Wedding Rings
wedding rings may be worn on any of ten fingers but traditionally it is always forth finger of left hand; if thumb of left hand is considered as first finger. Wedding ring as well as engagement ring is worn on this ring finger (fourth one of left hand). Although science has negated in recent years but it is widely believed that this finger (known as ring finger) has direct link to heart which is an emotional cause for selection as well as preference. Some time selection depends upon country also. For example Orthodox countries choose right hand for ring whereas others use left hand. In Eastern countries it is always left hand.
