Illinois money leaves Chicago
The thing that I find interesting about Illinois tourism is that it isn’t all based in Chicago. That to me would be the place to go, but from what I’ve heard only twenty per cent of the tourism dollar is being spent there. The rest of it comes from other parts of the state and most surprising to me is the amount spent in places like campgrounds and such around the city. I guess that the city people like to get out of the city when they are on vacation so that the wealth spreads outside of the Chicago area as people get away.
