Rosetta Stone Scam Results in Suit

Currently there are many companies who are trying to use more popular versions of their products to drive traffic to their own web sites. The term is called “piggybacking” and it is done through paid sponsorship on a search engine. One language software company has had enough. A Rosetta Stone scam has resulted in the company filling suit against the business using their name. They are claiming that the defending company is infringing on their rights by paying for ads that appear when somebody searches for “Rosetta Stone” in a search engine. Potential Rosetta Stone customers are then led to the competing company’s site.
