Maybe I’m just technologically naive, but I think broadband access through satellite could possibly be the greatest idea for obtaining high speed Internet, especially when the price eventually comes down. In my mind, I think of how television programming information bounces off a satellite and basically reaches my home instantaneously, and I think that the same technology should be able to have similarly amazing results with the Internet. DSL is a lot faster than dial-up, but what if your Internet access was even faster than that? Imagine the same page that loads in ten seconds loading in one, or the same game that loads in a minute loading in ten seconds. I think that satellites should bring us such truly space-age technology on the Internet.
